The offshore partner visa (subclass 309 & 100) allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. Eligibility requirements for a Partner (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 309)?

Be in a genuine relationship with your spouse or de facto partner who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen
Be older than 18 years of age and not related to the partner by family.
Be outside Australia when you apply for this visa
